Standard of Glass Products – Insulated Glass

The differences between this standard and GB/T 11944-1989 and GB/T 7020-1986 are:

•  Redefining of insulated glass. It includes the glue-bar insulated glass.

•  The general dimension and max. size of insulated glass. It consults BS 5713:1979 rules.

•  The size tolerance insulated glass consults rules JIS R3209-1998.

•  The seal ability of insulated glass adds more technical requirements to 5mm + 9mm + 5mm .

•  It prescribes the contacting time of drosometer and glass in the dew point test by consulting ASTM E546-1988 and JIS R3209-1998.

•  It adds environmental conditions requirements to seal ability test, dew point test, climate cycle wear test.

•  It adds requirements of mislocation to raw glass and creep of glue-bar in ultraviolet radiation radiazation resistant test. There is no requirement on environmental conditions.

•  Do the climate cycle wear test and high temperature and humidity wear test separately.

•  Range

This standard prescribes the dimension, technical requiremwnts, inspection method, inspection rules, package, marks,transporting and storage of insulated glass.

This standard is suitable for producing insulated glass for architecture and refrigeration.
